well, i'm heading to extreme tomorrow and i haven't started packing yet...yikes. i'm not too worried though cause i can usually pack pretty fast. for those of you who don't know, extreme is a big youth group conference thing in Gatlinburg. they have speakers and bands and stuff and it goes till the 1st. and one of my all time fav. bands is gonna be there...Hawk Nelson!! woo hoo! this will be i think my 4th time seeing them and i'm really excited. there's gonna be some good speakers there too,i hear. so i'm just asking you all to pray for our safety and that we will all be drawn closer to God through the whole experience. i also ask you all that you would pray that i get to know some of the people in my youth group better because i pretty much have only a couple friends at my church....and i go to a pretty big church so it's weird. i know you  don't go to church just for friends, but it would be nice to have more than 1 person there who really knows me.

anyhoo, i went to see the new rocky movie yesterday with some homeschoolers and the movie was really good.we went to hang out afterwards and had pizza and played games and stuff. it was really fun. well, i guess i better go get to packing. talk to you all in a couple days.

ok people, i think everyone is entitled to a totally random post every now and then, so here is mine:

top ways I am not a girly-girl

~I'd rather be trounsing (sp.?) through the woods and a creek than lying on a beach (or by a pool) getting a tan

~I'd rather wear a t-shirt, jeans, and running shoes than the latest fashion trend

~get ready for this one, it may be shocking...*whispers* I don't like shopping. *gasp*...yes girls, i said it...i don't like shopping (every now and then i can handle it, but most of the time it just isn't appealing)

~I can put away a lot of food...not just "slumber party food"... i mean big...juicy...hamburgers (particularly Chili's big mouth burgers)

~I love camping...i mean, i was out in the total wilderness for about 5 days...enough said

~I'm really not a big fan of lip gloss

~I hug all over my sweaty horse...and I love it

~I can walk all over a poo-filled field and it doesn't bother me one bit

so anyhoo...I think that about does it
